MARBLE HILL, MO (KFVS) -

A Marble Hill woman won more than $60,000 from the Missouri lottery.

Julia Burke, 53, of Marble Hill won $65,002 from the Missouri Lottery's Show Me Cash drawing earlier this month.

Burke had only played Show Me Cash for three times. Her winning ticket was purchased at Route K One Stop on 5827 Highway K, in Cape Girardeau.

At 1:30 a.m., the mother of three decided to check her numbers. Burke could not believe her results so she decided to use the Check-A-Ticket scanner. She waited until 6 a.m. until the store opened.

"That was an exciting four-and-a-half hours," Burke said. "I wanted to call someone with the news, but no one was awake."

Burke plans on playing the lottery again. She has not decided how she wants to spend her winnings.
