CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A fire happened around 4:25 p.m. Wednesday at the recycling center of Cape Grade Public Works.

The fire was contained in 15 minutes. Workers reported that they heard a pop when the fire started.

It is unknown as to what caused the fire, but an investigation will be led by the Cape Girardeau Fire Department.
