The body of a male was found by a Lock and Dam employee who was checking on something in the water, according to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department.
The sheriff's department and the coroner were called to the scene.
According to investigators, Friday morning at 9:33 a.m., workers at Dam 52 on the Ohio River contacted the McCracken County E-911 Center concerning a body that was floating in the area of the Dam.
