CHICAGO (AP) - If a standard-size hot dog isn't quite enough of a meal for you, you're in luck.
As part of National Hot Dog and Sausage Month, the Chicago White Sox are introducing to U.S. Cellular Field a one-pound, 2-foot-long hot dog dubbed the "Giant Slugger."
It was actually created to serve as many as four people. It includes a beef hot dog, nacho cheese, chili, grilled onions and jalapenos. It's served on a 22-inch bun.
The new hot dog will be featured in an individual hot-dog eating contest before Wednesday's game between the White Sox and the Texas Rangers. It would be noteworthy if one person eats the "Giant Slugger" in around 20 minutes.
The hot dog was initially created in Texas and is known there as "The Boomstick."
