MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division have arrested a man on charges of trafficking cocaine and then arrested two more for trafficking methamphetamine.

James Darren Hicks, 45, of Paducah was charged with trafficking controlled substance cocaine over 4 grams.

Justen Mann, 29, of Paducah was charged with trafficking controlled substance methamphetamine over 2 grams and trafficking controlled substance methamphetamine under 2 grams.

Elizabeth Culp, 32, of Paducah was charged with complicity to trafficking controlled substance methamphetamine over 2 grams and complicity to trafficking controlled substance methamphetamine under 2 grams.

Detectives learned in an investigation that Darren Hicks was looking to buy cocaine to later sell.

On Thursday, July 5,  an undercover detective contacted Hicks and agreed to sell him a half ounce of cocaine. The detective met Hicks on the parking lot of a local business on Lone Oak Road and sold him the powder cocaine. A short time later, other detectives took Hicks into custody without incident.

At around 6 p.m. Thursday, detectives saw Justen Mann and Elizabeth Culp in the Farley area. Mann and Culp were suspects in an earlier crystal methamphetamine investigation in June, where a person cooperating with law enforcement had purchased meth from the couple several times.

A deputy stopped the vehicle as they pulled into a business on Benton Road and Mann and Culp were both taken into custody at that time. A search of the vehicle revealed several doses of Lortab, Klonipin, and Xanax

Deputies say Justen Mann is currently on parole and was released from prison on April 20, 2012. Culp was also arrested on an outstanding bench warrant.
