CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

Police arrested a woman after a car crashed into a Carbondale business and fight between two women.

It happened around 9:15 a.m. in the 600 block of East Main Street.

Carbondale Police were called for an argument between three females in the parking lot of One Stop Smoke Shop.

Police say as Karimah T. Mosley-Higgns was yelling at another female to get out of her vehicle, the female lost control and it crashed through the front doors of the business.

Police say Mosley-Higgins then entered the business and struck the driver with a bottle she took from the business.

A fight between the two ensued until business employees separated them and called police.

Mosley-Higgins and two other citizens at the business, including an infant, were treated and released from the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for minor injuries.

Mosley-Higgins is charged with aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. She was taken to the Jackson County Jail.

Even though the front door was boarded up, the store stayed open for business.
