Children of all ages got dirty in an effort to keep clean at the 3rd Annual Keep It Clean Mud Festival in Perryville, MO.
The Perry Park Center hosted Saturday's event.
Firefighters helped turn the park grounds from plain old dirt into slippery, gooey mud.
Organizers hope the children learn to recycle and to help keep their world free from litter.
The event was free for anyone who wanted to get dirty.
