PARK HILLS, MO (KFVS) -
Parents have their guard up in Park Hills and Desloge after three separate incidents over the weekend.
First in Park Hills, police say a man approached and exposed himself to two different groups of kids.
"It's terrifying it's absolutely terrifying," said parent Angel Coleman. "What what scares me the most is we still have absolutely no idea who it is it. It could be anyone."
"As a dad I think the man is trouble," said Darrell Coleman. "You just never know anymore."
Park Hills police say a man approached two little girls around 10 p.m. Friday behind a gas station. They believe the same individual also exposed himself to three little girls Saturday morning in an alley near a park.
"Everybody is up in arms over this and rightfully so," said Park Hills Police Detective Mike Kurtz. "The girls have been doing the right thing. First that they are staying in groups and the second thing is running screaming for help."
Meanwhile, just before the incident in Park Hills Friday, Desloge police got a report of a man approaching a group of four kids on S. Harry Junior Street. We are told a man in a Mustang asked where to find the park, and when one of the girls approached he then offered her sex for money. That's when the kids ran away. Police believe the same man could be involved.
"We are not sure if the incidents are connected," said Det. Kurtz. "They do sound similar.'
Park Hills police say they man they are looking for is about white male about 5'10'', skinny, and blonde with a scruffy appearance. Police believe he is in his 20s or 30s.
Desloge police give a similar description and believe the man was possibly in a Ford Mustang.
