PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

A woman was arrested after police say she called them to report her pills had been stolen and later admitted to selling them.

Alison Nicole Blackwell of Perryville called police on July 22 to report she had gone out of town and came back to find pills were taken out of her purse, according to Perryville Police chief Keith Tarrillion.

Tarrillion says Blackwell later claimed she sold them for money to another person. That person confirmed it to police.
