MARSHALL-TRIGG COUNTY LINE, KY (KFVS) -
The
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on the US 68-KY 80 Eggners Ferry Bridge starting on Monday.
The
lane and load width restriction is for detailed inspection of the bridge
structure.
According to KYTC, the work zone will be restricted to a maximum 8 ft. load width to allow a snooper
truck and a work platform to be used to access the bridge substructure.
Climbers will also be inspecting the bridge superstructure. The inspection
work is expected to take about a week to complete.

One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.
