DYERSBERG, TN (KFVS) - A county constable has been charged on one count of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
Derick Hundley was arrested by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on July 21 and taken to the Obion County Jail.
He is a former Halls police officer
and one of 10 constables for Dyer County.
The Dyersberg Mayor's office confirmed that Hundley was elected a constable in 2010.
Hundley has now resigned from that position. Dyer County is now accepting applications for that position. The county is expected to vote on a replacement later this month.
The investigation is ongoing and even though it is a state charge, the FBI is also working on the case.
Hundley was being held in Obion County on $250,000 bond.
