More sinkholes have appeared in Cape Girardeau, one of which is located in a residential area on Ellis Street. Neighbors say they noticed the hole on Monday when the area was hit with heavy rains.

CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) -
A Charleston man is accused of child molestation.
Darrell Irish, 37, of Charleston is accused of statutory sodomy and child molestation charges.
He was taken to the Mississippi County Jail with no bond.
The Charleston Department of Public Safety began its investigation on July 29.
The State Technical Assistance Team, the Missouri Children's Division, the Juvenile Office and the SEMO Cyber Crimes Task Force assisted in the investigation.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Charleston Department of Public Safety at (573) 683-3737. Additional charges and arrests are possible.
