BLOOMFIELD, MO (KFVS) -

Bloomfield police are looking for an attempted strong arm robbery suspect at the Country Mart.

It happened around 5:42 a.m. Monday as an employee came to work early to begin cooking.

Bloomfield Police Chief Tim Zych says the employee went out to get a donut delivery and when she started to walk back into the store was pushed from behind into the store.

The employee was able to resist the man and pushed the door back and locked it before he got into the store.

The employee had minor injuries to her forehead and scratches on her arm.

Police describe the suspect as around 20 years old, 6' tall, 160 pounds, with a black hoodie and gray sweat pants. He left the scene on foot. He did not display a weapon.
