WEST FRANKFORT, IL (KFVS) -

A man is accused of showing a gun and wanting money at a Marion business on Saturday morning.

According to Marion Police, Gary A. Ross, of West Frankfort was arrested and charged with armed robbery and two counts of unlawful use of weapons.

Police say Ross approached the cashier at Pilot Truck Stop in Marion around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, showed a gun and demanded money.

When the clerk didn't hand over any money, police say Ross left from a side door.

Witnesses saw Ross leave the business in a light blue Chevy S-10 truck.

After a call went out to state police, a West Frankfort officer spotted the truck with Ross in it.

Ross was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
