MCCRACKEN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - A Lone Oak man was arrested and charged with marijuana cultivation Saturday evening.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to a complaint of drug activity at a trailer park at 3553 Clinton Road in Lone Oak.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they found 23 marijuana plants growing behind a mobile home.  Police say some of the plants were more than 10 feet tall.

The mobile home is owned by Lowell "Bruce" Lawrence, 61, of Paducah.  Deputies searched inside his home, where they found 29 additional marijuana plants in one room.  They also found grow lights, fertilizer, soils, and other drug paraphernalia.

Lawrence was charged with Cultivation of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and second degree Wanton Endangerment.  He was taken to McCracken County Regional Jail.
