Rams wide receiver waived

Wide receiver Danario Alexander of the St. Louis Rams has been waived with an injury settlement.

The former University of Missouri football star has participated in very few practices and missed the first three preseason games.

Alexander suffered a hamstring injury throughout the summer and has had multiple surgeries on his left knee, keeping him off the NFL field.

He averaged 16.6 yards in ten games of last season, five of which he started.

Alexander  also had 26 catches and two touchdowns.
