Kentucky State Police urge people to lock their cars and their homes after an escape from a halfway house in Paducah.
They say the escapee has a history of theft. In fact, that's part of the reason he went to jail in the first place.
KSP is looking for 37-year-old Edward Young. He escaped around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Young is described as a white bale, about 210 pounds, and 6'2" tall.
Young was in jail for theft and drug charges.
KSP says he has a history of car thefts, so residents are urged to be vigilant and lock their cars and homes.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Edward Young is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police, Post 1 at 270-856-3721.
