MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -
One lane of the northbound and southbound lanes of Purchase Parkway south of the 47 mile marker is shut down after a semi crash.
A semi hit the rear of a mowing crew support truck.
One lane of each of the north and southbound lanes of the Julian Carrol Purchase Pkwy is shut down from the 43 through 47 mile. This is from where the Purchase Parkway intersects with Hwy. 348 and US Hwy 68 west.
Traffic is being routed off at of the parkway at exit 43 and exit 47.
No word on any injuries.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet urges drivers in the area to drive slow at emergency response personnel are along roadway.
A brief closure may be required to remove the burned semi from the median.

One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.
