About half of the states have made the decision to expand Medicaid. Missouri lawmakers are currently debating the matter in Jefferson City. How will what legislators decide impact the state, and those currently living without health insurance?

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Students at Southeast Missouri State showed their support for an injured classmate.

Cape Girardeau police say the driver of a pick-up truck hit Meg Herndon's scooter around 2:30 Sunday afternoon at North Sprigg and Normal Ave. in Cape Girardeau.

She's in Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

The Southeast Missouri State girls soccer team played their first game since the crash Tuesday night.

Students went to the game to show their support for Meg and the team.

There were signs on the bleachers that said "SEMO loves Meg," and "Rally for Meg." Students also used the Twitter hashtag #RallyForMeg throughout the day on the social media website.

Some Greek students tell me they are like a family within their own sororities and fraternities, much like the soccer team is their own family. So, they said they wanted to show the same support they would if it were someone in their own college family who was injured.

Other students said they want the soccer girls team to know they're not alone in the fight for Meg.

"Anybody that will come support Meg weather they know her or not, I think is just awesome because it will give everyone on the soccer team, this hey we can do this game, yes we know we're down about Meg, but we can definitely do this game," Southeast Missouri State Student Aimee Gigax.

"We just wanted to come out and show our support tonight and really show her that even if we individually don't know her, she's still a SEMO student, and we want to be here for her, not only her, but her family and the soccer team and everything, and show them that their not alone," said Southeast Missouri State Student Anna Washko.

The Redhawks said via Twitter that a record 841 fans showed at Houck Stadium to show their support at Tuesday night's game.
