2 injured in St. Francois County crash

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - 2 people were taken to the hospital, one with serious injuries, after their truck overturned in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a truck driven by Jonathan Scott, 22, of Farmington, MO was traveling north when he lost control and ran off the road.  

Officials say Scott over corrected, drove into a ditch and overturned.  Scott was ejected from the vehicle.  

A passenger in the vehicle, Jessica Barton, 20, of Farmington, was also injured. 

Scott was flown to St. John's Mercy Medical Center with serious injuries.  Barton was taken by ambulance to Parkland Hospital with minor injuries.  Official say Barton was wearing a seatbelt, but Scott was not.
