PERRY COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

A judge finds a teen guilty of murdering a Perry County girl.

Robbie Mueller was scheduled for a bench trial Thursday. Early on, the judge called a recess so prosecutors and Mueller's defense could negotiate.

The attorneys agreed on certain facts that would be presented to the judge to make a decision on Mueller's guilt. Based on a nine-page document stating the facts of the murder and the teens' confessions to police, the judge decided there was enough evidence to convict Mueller of first degree murder.

Mueller also had to agree with the facts contained in the document and in exchange for his agreement, Mueller got a promise from prosecutors not to seek a prison term of longer than 50 years.

A stipulation bench trial reserves a defendant's right to appeal.

Mueller is the last of three teens to be found guilty of murdering 15-year-old Sidnee Stephens in July 2010.

Wednesday a judge sentenced James Glazier to 60 years in prison. Glazier's attorney has already filed an appeal.

The first teen to be convicted in this case, Carl Dane, killed himself before being transferred to prison.
