Several news agencies report Apple users having problems with Apple's text messaging system.
The Los Angeles Times reports "My iMessage" and "iMessage" started trending on Twitter on Monday morning as iPhone users began complaining about the Apple text messaging system not working.
IMessage allows Apple users to send SMS messages to each other via iMessage and bypass service charges from wireless providers.
Apple Insider reports that despite displaying an "all clear" on its iCloud status website, iMessage users form around the world are complained of sporadic service outages, according to reports from Apple's online Support Communities on Monday.
CNet reports users have outlined their issues in several Apple support forum discussions. According to cNet, the problems appear to affect users across the globe, suggesting that the problem is on Apple's end as opposed to that of a service provider.
CBS News also reported issues with the service saying iMessage is available for iPhones, iPads and iPod touches and was recently added to Mac OS X Mountain Lion.

One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.
