BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Les Miles and his Tigers went back to work Tuesday after a bomb scare on the LSU campus Monday put everything on hold, including practice for the second ranked Tigers.

The team worked on their game plan for the struggling Auburn Tigers. Missing from practice was the team's second leading rusher, Alfred Blue, one half of coach Miles' "shake and bake."

Blue hurt his knee in the third quarter of Saturday's win over Idaho. He will miss this weekend's game against Auburn and possibly several more games.

Blue has 270 rushing yards, second behind Kenny Hilliard, who leads the team with 303 rushing yards—including 8.3 yards a carry. Hilliard also has six rushing touchdowns.

LSU is blessed with great depth at running back, and while leading rusher Kenny Hilliard will get more carries, Michael Ford, Spencer Ware and Jeremy Hill will all see more action.

Hill saw his first action this weekend against the Vandals, rushing for 61 yards and two touchdowns.

Kickoff against Auburn this Saturday is at 6pm on ESPN.

Dylan Thompson threw for three touchdowns and No. 24 South Carolina's maligned defense stood strong on a fourth-quarter goal line stand to topple No. 6 Georgia 38-35 on Saturday night.
No. 24 South Carolina's defense showed it's not nearly as bad as it looked two weeks ago - and maybe that No. 6 Georgia isn't the runaway favorite in the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division.

Georgia can establish itself as a top-tier beast if it gets by South Carolina this weekend - and USC would drop to 0-2 in the league with a loss. Tennessee travels to Oklahoma, where Coach Bob Stoops doesn't believe the SEC is all-powerful.
