LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Police in Alabama say a missing teenager and her abductors may be hiding in East Texas.

According to a press release from the Dothan Police Department, Ailene Lander, 15, was abducted from a medical facility on Sept. 17. Police believe her abductor is Charles "Dean" Partin, 36, a truck driver, and her stepfather, who was later joined by Julie Bethke.

Police believe Lander and the abductors are most likely located in East Texas or West Louisiana.

At the time of the abduction, Lander was wearing a white short and white and pink shorts. Her hair may now be blonde and police believe she is in physical and medical danger.

Partin was wearing a baseball cap, a dark-colored shirt and dark jeans. He is believed to have fled in a two-tone light blue over dark blue 1994 Mercury Villager. That vehicle has been located at an undisclosed location. It is now believe Partin changed to a blue or green Toyota minivan.

Partin is most likely seeking assistance at various charitable organizations.

Anyone with information on this case should call 1-800-CALLFBI (225-5324) and choose option one.
