CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - A memorial service will be held for Southeast Missouri State soccer player Meg Herndon tonight.
The memorial is scheduled to take place at Houck Stadium at 7 p.m.
Herndon died as a result of injuries she suffered after being knocked from her scooter by a truck.
Several speakers are scheduled to address those who attend the service. They include University President Dr. Ken Dobbins, a soccer teammate, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a nursing student and Herndon's mother.
If tonight's memorial is rained out, it will be held inside Houck Field House.
