STARK COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

TOULON, Ill. (AP) - Illinois State Police have canceled an alert issued after an infant was abducted from the U.S. Post Office in Toulon, Illinois.

According to authorities, 3-week-old Mia Graci Thompson was found late Thursday.

The alert was issued after the girl was taken from the back seat of a vehicle. Authorities have not said in what circumstances the infant was recovered.

At the time the alert was issued, state police announced they were looking for a woman driving a gold or tan Buick or Pontiac. Officials released few other details.

Toulon is about 30 miles northwest of Peoria.
