WICKLIFFE, KY (KFVS) -

A Ballard County man faces several drug and firearms charges.

Stacy R. Freeman, 35, of Ballard County is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance - methamphetamine (firearm enhanced), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of marijuana, and improper equipment.

Police found Freeman with a large quantity of crystal meth and two firearms on September 26.

Several stolen items were also recovered.

Freeman is also a suspect of multiple burglaries and thefts in surrounding counties. More charges are likely to follow.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office had arrested Freeman on similar charges when he was found in possession of a large quantity of crystal meth and a firearm five months ago.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office and Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations West investigated the case.
