MARION, IL (KFVS) -
A woman and two children were involved in a rollover crash early Monday morning near Ina on Interstate 57.
Illinois State Police say Linda E. Edwards, 28, of Marion was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer southbound on I-57 when she dozed off and drove the SUV off the right side of the road, overcorrected and drove off the left side of the road around 5:18 a.m.
The SUV overturned and rolled at least two times. It happened at mile post 83.
A 7-year-old passenger in the front passenger seat was ejected. The child had non life-threatening injuries.
A 2-year-old passenger in the backseat was restrained and was not injured.
Edwards was pinned inside the SUV.
Edwards and the children were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
