The location for the trial of Deonta Williamson has been set for St. Charles County, Mo.

According to the Pemiscot County Clerk, Williamson is facing first degree murder charges for the August 2011 death of Caruthersville Police Officer Evan Burns.

Williamson was fleeing police in a stolen SUV when he collided with the squad car driven by Officer Burns.

Another Caruthersville office was injured in that crash.

The family of Deonta Williamson say he suffers from mental illness.
