Man faces several charges after 4 people hit in crash

GILBERTSVILLE, KY (KFVS) -

A Gilbertsville man faces several charges after a crash in May left two people with life-threatening injuries.

Cory A. Burkeen, 24, of Gilbertsville is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, four counts of wanton endangerment 1st degree and 2 counts of assault 1st degree.

Burkeen was the driver of a vehicle that hit four people on May 28, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

After awaiting toxicology, the results came back with evidence to charge Burkeen with the crash. Burkeen was arrested on October 3.

He was taken to the Marshall County Detention Center.
