VAN BUREN, MO (KFVS) -

A former temporary employee at the Ozark National Scenic Riverways has been sentenced to federal prison and ordered to register as a sex offender for video voyeurism.

According to the park service, Randon Wayne Crane, 32, of Summersville, Missouri, was sentenced to three months in prison. When released, Crane will be placed on federal supervised release for one year.

Since the victim of the crime was a minor, Crane is required to register as a sex offender for fifteen years.

Crane admitted that he photographed a sixteen year old female using a shower facility located in a campground.

The case was investigated by the Investigative Services Branch of the National Park Service.

According to the park service, Ozark National Scenic Riverways has retrofitted the shower enclosures to insure these types of incidents would not be repeated.
