METROPOLIS, IL (KFVS) -

A Normal, Illinois man faces four months in jail, after pleading guilty to mishandling cemetery funds.

A judge sentenced Gary Towler to pay more than $60,000 in restitution in addition to the jail time.

Towler's accused of mishandling trust funds at the Memorial Garden's Cemetery in Metropolis.

Prosecutors say the charges came after an audit by Illinois' comptroller found that almost $150,000 in funds meant for the cemetery, didn't make it into the cemetery's bank account.
