MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS) -

A Murphysboro teenager faces charges in connection to several recent vehicle burglaries.

According to Murphysboro Police, Shaquille D. Bulliner, 18, was arrested Saturday afternoon and preliminarily charged with two counts of burglary to a motor vehicle. 

The police department says they have gotten reports of nearly 25 vehicle burglaries over the last two weeks on the south side of the city. They say the vehicles had been left unlocked.

More arrests are pending, according to police.

The cases are being investigated by the Murphysboro Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
