ROYALTON, IL (KFVS) -

Three people were arrested Friday on meth charges in Royalton.

Jeffrey P. Patton, 36, of Royalton is charged with possession of methamphetamine precursor, possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, possession of a weapon by felon, possession of Cannibus, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hypodermic needle.

Traci L. Jackson, 35, of West Frankfort is charged with [possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing materials, possession of methamphetamine precursor, and possession of hypodermic needle.

Amber E. Scro, 28, of Royalton is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursor, and possession of hypodermic needle.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, deputies were serving a search warrant Friday in the 300 block of South Sims for failure to appear in court on traffic charges when Patton fled the scene. Deputies caught him in the backyard.

While working to arrest Patton, deputies found evidence of a potential methamphetamine manufacturing operation inside the home.

After another search warrant, members of the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force found meth manufacturing materials.

Scro and Jackson were arrested.
