CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) -

A Charleston family is desperate for answers after their loved one disappeared without a trace.

No one has seen or heard from Tony Woodworth since he vanished on October 11, 2007.

"I don't want people to think we forgot about him because I'll never forget him," said Annie Black-Tony's Mother.

The emotions are just as raw today as they were five years ago. Annie Black's heart is breaking for her missing son.

"I can't tell him I love him anymore," said Black.

On this somber anniversary, family and friends gathered in Charleston to pray and release balloons.

"I'd give my life, if I could get answers to tell my mom," said Teresa Woodworth-Tony's Sister.

She says she can't get the early morning hours of October 11th, 2007 out of her mind.

She says her brother was at her house on the 200 block of North Elm in Charleston.

"He was arguing with some people outside, and he left," said Woodworth. "I haven't seen him since. That was five years ago today."

So far there are no known clues in this investigation.

Police at one point believed foul play could be a possibility.

"Tony didn't deserve this, if something happened to him he needs to be put to rest and put at peace," said Black.

His family believes someone has the information they need.

"There's people out here who know what happened, and they're afraid to help," said Black.

On this day of remembrance Woodworth's loved ones hope his story triggers even the slightest detail that leads them to closure.

"I just want answers, I just want to find my brother," said Teresa Woodworth.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is now handling this investigation.

If you have any information on what happened to Tony Woodworth, give them a call.
