The Auburn Tigers completed their practices in preparation for this weekend's road game at Ole Miss with a 16-period workout Thursday afternoon at the Auburn Athletics Complex Practice Fields.

"This is a very, very good football team, and after getting a good chance to watch them, defensively, they play extremely hard and do a good job of pressuring offenses and coming up with some big plays," said Auburn head coach Gene Chizik. "Last week they came off a tough loss to Texas A&M and had a chance to win that game a couple of different times. It's just a very different football team than Ole Miss was this time last year, in my opinion."

Saturday's SEC road game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium against Ole Miss is an 11:21 a.m. CT kickoff. The game is the second SEC home game in a row for the Rebels after playing their SEC home-opener last week against Texas A&M, a 30-27 loss. Auburn leads the all-time series with Ole Miss, 27-9, and holds a 9-2 advantage in Oxford, Miss. The Tigers have won the last three meetings overall, including a 41-23 last year in Auburn.

Auburn continues a two-game SEC road swing next Saturday, October 20, with an 11:21 CT contest at Vanderbilt. The Tigers return home to Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday, October 27, hosting Texas A&M on Military Appreciation Day.
