MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

One person went to the hospital after an early morning crash in McCracken County.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department received a report of an injury accident in the 2400 block of Olivet Church Road around 5:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say 49-year-old James Neel, of Mayfield, was driving southbound on Olivet Church Road when he attempted to make a left turn into the driveway of 2430 Olivet Church Road. Officers say Neel turned short of the driveway and instead drove into a ditch.

A passenger in Neel's vehicle, 32-year-old Antonio Jones, of Paducah, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by Mercy Regional EMS and The Concord Fire Department.
