The Egyptian Health Department is sponsoring Electronic Recycling Collection Day on October 27 in Harrisburg.

The event will be held at Harrisburg Yard Site #2 across from the Saline county Museum on Feazel Street in Harrisburg from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There is no fee to drop off items. Acceptable electronic items include computers, televisions, printers, fax machines, scanners, DVD/VCR players, copiers, cash register, cell phones, etc.

Items that cannot be accepted include refrigerators, air conditioners, and dishwashers or anything containing liquid.
