CISNE, IL (KFVS) -

A Cisne man was taken into custody after his pickup truck crashed into a school bus in Wayne County, Illinois.

It happened at Central and Jones Street in Cisne on Friday afternoon.

According to Illinois State Police, a 1995 Ford F-150 driven by Randall Lee Stringfield, 34, of Cisne rear ended a stopped North Wayne County Community Unit District 200 school bus.

According to the crash report, the bus was stopped in traffic to turn south onto Jones Street from Central Street.

Troopers say there were students on board but no injuries were reported.

Stringfield was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving while license suspended, operating uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol.

He was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Clay County, Illinois.

ISP was assisted by the Wayne County Sheriff's Department and the North Wayne Ambulance Service.
