MASSAC COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -
A 15 year old died in a shooting early Sunday morning in Massac County.
It happened in the 3100 block of Mick English Road in the county around 4 a.m. Sunday.
According to the Massac County Sheriff's Office, the gunshot wound was accidental and self-inflicted.
Three 17 year olds and an 18 year old were present at the time of the shooting, according to the sheriff's office.
Toxicology results are pending to determine if alcohol was a factor.
A dispatcher with Massac County says the teen attended Massac County High School.
