The suspect involved in a high speed motorcycle chase with numerous law enforcement agencies has been booked into the Smith County Jail.

Authorities chased the motorcyclist through several East Texas counties on Thursday, before arresting him in Wood County.

The chase ended when, 33-year-old, Michael Koch wrecked out on County Road 2220 at County Road 2211 near Mineola, and took off on foot.

Koch was apprehended a short time later.

He is charged with evading arrest.
