MASSAC COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Two people are behind bars accused of breaking into two Massac County homes and stealing thousands of dollars in property.

According to Massac County Sheriff Tom Holder, on Monday the department received calls from two homeowners who said there homes had been broken into.

Sheriff Holder says deputies worked with Illinois State police crime scene technicians to process the homes.

After the news reported the story, Sheriff Holder says his department started receiving tips about possible suspects. One of those tips lead them to possible stolen property at 8019 Unionville Road.

Sheriff's Deputies along with an agent from the Illinois Department of Parole, went to the home. The Sheriff says at the home they found all of the stolen property from both break-ins.

They arrested Wesley Reynolds and Evangeinina Delao, both of Unionville.

They both face burglary, theft and other charges. They're being held, without bond, in the Massac County Detention Center.
