Georgetown forward Otto Porter left Sunday's game in the first half with an apparent head injury after an opposing player unintentionally hit him with an elbow.
Porter, a former Scott County Central star, did not return to the game. Georgetown head coach John Thompson III said it was merely precautionary, and Porter will be monitored over the next couple of days.
Porter is a preseason honorable mention All-American entering his second season with the Hoyas.
