Interstate Crash shuts down southbound lanes

WEAKLEY COUNTY, TN (KFVS) -
A Martin, Tenn. man confessed to being involved in an assault and robbery on the campus of UT Martin.
Richard L. Taylor, 19, is facing two counts of robbery, aggravated assault and two counts of aggravated kidnapping.
According to prosecutors, Taylor was identified by the victims as one of the people that had robbed them and held them against their will at gunpoint. Prosecutors say the victims did have injuries to their head and say they had been hit with a weapon during the incident.
One victim says Taylor stole about $700 from him and the other victim says his cell phone and about $5 in cash were taken in the robbery.
Prosecutors say Taylor did confess to the his involvement in the robbery and kidnapping.
