ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

The St. Francois County Sheriff's Department has questioned two people and is looking for a third after a man was shot twice with a shotgun Tuesday afternoon just outside of Farmington.

Investigators say the shooting happened at a business at the corner of Delassus and Highway 221 just west of the Farmington city limits.  Officers say the victim then walked to a nearby business for help.

Mark L. Martin, Sr., 51, was arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant from St. Louis County for possession of a controlled substance. Martin has since posted bond on the charge and released.

A 37-year-old Farmington resident was questioned and released pending further investigation.

A 59-year-old Farmington resident is still being sought in connection with the incident.

The 39-year-old victim was shot once on his left side and once in the back.

After he was shot, he drove himself to a gas station about a quarter of a mile away to get help.

The injuries are not life threatening. He was treated and released from a St. Louis hospital.

Police say one suspect was in custody while another ran from police.

Investigators are looking for a white male in his 60s, who was wearing a blue flannel shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Farmington Police Department or St. Francois County dispatch.

Police say they don't have a motive for the shooting as they continue to interview people with knowledge about what happened.
