JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

A Jackson priest is heading to the East Coast as local support for victims of Superstorm Sandy continues.

Father John Harth is a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains and is part of the group's Disaster Response Team.

He will be leaving Thursday morning for the Jersey shore. There, he'll join other team members in providing stress management help for storm-weary first responders.
