TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

After Alabama's first loss of the season, the Crimson Tide prepares to take on a 1-9 Western Carolina. But, the Texas A&M game is still lingering.

"I catch it from everybody – my wife's mad, my kids are upset that we lost," head coach Nick Saban said. "Everybody is, I am too, but how am I going to affect everybody around me so that we respond the right way to the circumstance that we are in."

Despite the Aggies wrecking the Tide's flawless season, some of the players believe the loss was exactly what they needed.

"I know we are better than what we have been playing," said Nico Johnson. "We were fortunate to get away with a win two weeks ago. We have to have a mindset of there's no tomorrow."

And Johnson wasn't the only player to feel the loss was necessary.

"For the older guys, it's hard to make the younger guys work hard because they're so used to winning," said Eddie Lacy. "But, when a loss sets in, it brings you back to reality."
