Black smoke filled the sky around 11:45 AM Sunday morning near FM 2680 and Bryce Rd.
Property owners were burning a pile of wood during a controlled burn when all of the sudden bullets started flying. The owner said some how there were bullets in or near the pile of wood the owners were burning and when the flames got near them, they started flying and the fire burned out of control.
The owners say they just recently purchased the property and do not know how the bullets got there.
Central Fire Department responded to the blaze and got it under control quickly before the fire could move towards the home.
A large tree in the front yard was completely blackened and lots of debris in the yard also caught fire.
Nobody was injured.
Central Fire Department is still on scene investigating the fire.
