Salukis top Nicholls State, 65-53

Southern Illinois won the second game of the World Vision Challenge Friday night, beating Nicholls State 65-53 to improve to 7-3 overall.

The Salukis got a big night from Desmar Jackson, who scored 21 points and added 11 rebounds. Jeff Early also had a double-double, 10 points and 10 rebounds.

SIU finishes the World Vision Challenge Saturday night against host Utah State at 9 p.m. CT
