New York (PRWEB) January 14, 2013
TradeCard, Inc., the supply chain collaboration and global trade platform used by more than 10,000 retailers, brands, manufacturers and service providers, will showcase the power of RFID Scan & Pack at the factory during the National Retail Federation (NRF) show being held January 13 – 16, 2013 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. Demonstrations presented at booth C214 will showcase capabilities retailers should consider adopting when implementing RFID programs.
Visitors to the booth will learn how retailers can use RFID at the factory to:
“There’s a lot of talk right now about retailers, such as JC Penney and Macy’s, moving from successful RFID pilots in-store to full deployments with source tagging,” said TradeCard Product Manager Lori Kinser. “As tagging moves to the garment factory, there’s significant opportunity to benefit from leveraging the RFID tags at source. RFID has become the hot story – once again – leading into NRF 2013.”
Retailers have an opportunity to leverage RFID tags at source to improve speed, compliance and transparency. TradeCard is working with retailers to support all forms of store-ready packing at the factory through improved packing accuracy, using RFID technology.
“Our partnership with TradeCard has enabled us to accelerate performance of a number of leading global retailers through the Factory Xpress®/InfoChain Express® (ICE) offering,” said Mark Hill, VP/GM Global Innovation and Solutions Development at Avery Dennison, the leader in item-level RFID in the apparel industry. “RFID pack verification capability significantly increases the value of this powerful platform for any brand owner who is implementing RFID source tagging.”
